NLL Daily Fantasy with a (Cool Cat) Twist

Nine Lives Lounge members: It’s time for some daily fantasy, NBA Finals edition!

Every game for the NBA Finals you will pick a lineup of 6 players who will rack up fantasy points for you. You cannot pick a player more than three times across the whole series!

Scoring System

• +1 per point scored
• +0.5 per 3pt made
• +1.25 per rebound
• +1.5 per assist
• +2 per steal
• +2 per block

In addition there will be two modifiers randomly chosen per game.

• The first modifier will always be a pure +100% bonus on one of the above 6 scoring categories (points, 3pts, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks).
• The second modifier is a mystery grab bag of modifiers which will not be revealed until they are chosen. Some will be fairly tame, while others will attempt to push the limits of this setup.

The form for each game with the rules for the day and for inputting selections will be sent out at least 24 hrs before the start of that game. It must be completed before the tip-off of that game. TO BE CLEAR, there will be a new form to fill out for each game.

There will be prizes for EACH game, AND prizes for overall performance throughout the series.

Single Game Prizes

The top 9 entries every game will be rewarded with prizes.

1st — $60 Dapper Balance + 1 Cool Cats pack*

2nd — $30 + 1 Cool Cats pack**

3rd — $18 + 1 Cool Cats pack

4th-9th — $9

In case of ties, a tie-breaking question will be added to the form for each game.There will also be a tiebreaker prize — anyone who hits the tiebreaker question exactly on the nose will be eligible for this prize. It’s an additional $9 prize, and 1 random winner will be chosen from all those who guess the tiebreaker question exactly right.

Series Prizes

Prizes will also be given based on entrants’ overall fantasy points generated across the whole series.

1st — $300 Dapper Balance + 1 Cool Cats Pack

2nd — $180 + 1 Cool Cats Pack

3rd — $120 + 1 Cool Cats Pack

4th-5th — $60 + 1 Cool Cats Pack each

6th-9th — $30 + 1 Cool Cats Pack each

10th-30th — $9 + 1 Cool Cats Pack each

In the case of ties, how each entrant performed on the tie-breaking questions for each game will determine the winner.

*The Cool Cats packs will come from the NLL Council pack inventory, and which drop they come from will be determined at a later date (there were 4 total Cool Cats pack drops, plus several special pack drops for Steph Curry and Karl Anthony Towns moments).
