Stat Stuffers — An NLL-only Conference Finals Playoffs Challenge

Now that Round 2 of the NBA playoffs are behind us, it’s time for another NLL challenge! We’re bringing back one of our earlier contests, Stat Stuffers, but with a few modifications for the playoffs. And in a new twist, you don’t even need to create a showcase for it! Just head to the #council-updates channel in the NLL discord to find the Google form to submit your entry. This is an NLL-exclusive competition.

TL;DR: Pick a lineup of 10 different players featured in this year’s conference finals. You just need 1 or more players in your lineup to hit each of the following 5 stats at least 2 times in any of the Eastern Conference Finals or Western Conference Finals games:

• 25 points scored
• 10 rebounds
• 7 assists
• 4 three-pointers made
• 4 total blocks + steals

Reminder — YOU MUST USE 10 DIFFERENT PLAYERS IN THIS CHALLENGE. Duplicates will not count!

Base prize pool — $500 in Dapper Balance

You need two hits in EACH of the above stats. If one player hits more than one of the stats, or if they hit a goal more than once, it will all count towards your total. If your lineup doesn’t hit every category at least twice, you don’t win.

Each NLL member that hits these 5 stat goals two times in their lineup will win a share of the prize.

If no one hits them all 2x, then we will lower the stat that no one hits on until there are some hits. For example, if no one gets 7 assists, then we will next see if anyone got 6 assists.

Top prize pool — $600 in Dapper Balance

Lineups with the most ‘hits’ on the above stat lines can win the following:

1st: $150

2nd: $125

3rd: $100

4th: $75

5th: $50

6th-9th: $25 each

You do NOT need to qualify for the base prize pool to win this. If you have 10 players in your lineup drop 30 points each, that counts as 10 ‘hits.’ The lineups with the top 9 overall hits of the stat goals will win the above prizes.

Daily prize pool — $100 per game days in Dapper Balance

Lineups with the most ‘hits’ on the above stat lines on a particular day will win the following:

1st: $25

2nd: $15

3rd: $10

We will also have a $50 prize pool to be shared amongst 10 entrants who hit all 5 categories on one day. Unlike the base prize pool though, if no one hits on 5 categories, then no one will get this prize. In the case that more than 10 people hit, then we will randomly draw for spots using the tiebreaker criteria below.

Tiebreaker

If there are any ties for any of the Top 9 Overall Prizes, Top 3 Daily Prizes, or for the Daily $50 prize pool, we will use the NLL Tiebreaker wheel to figure out who will win. The wheel has the following categories on it:

NLL Tiebreaker Wheel (9 options)

• Lowest LaMelo Cool Cat serial
• Lowest Luka Cool Cat serial
• Most Cool Cat moments
• Most S1 moments
• Most Fandom moments
• Most Rare moments
• Most Completed Sets
• Most Moments of player who has the most hits for the day/overall (depending on prize pool)
• Most Moments from team that put up the most points for the day/overall (depending on prize pool)

So if it hits “Lowest LaMelo serial”, then we will compare the LaMelo serials of all those who tied, and the winner will be the person with the lowest one.

All entries must be submitted prior to the start of the Conference Finals games, which begin on Tuesday, May 17th, at 8:30 P.M. EDT.
